How to Send Large Files Free — Up to 2 GB, No Account for the Recipient

How DocFila Transfer works

DocFila Transfer has two modes. Link encrypts each file on your device before it leaves, relays the encrypted bytes through DocFila's servers, and the recipient's device decrypts them — the server only ever holds ciphertext it cannot read, and the session expires automatically (about 15 minutes). Nearby sends directly between two devices on the same local network, with nothing leaving your network. Both modes are end-to-end encrypted. Files up to 2 GB are supported.

Send a large file in 30 seconds

1. Open DocFila → Share → Transfer.
2. Pick the file (up to 2 GB, any format).
3. Choose Nearby for a device on the same Wi-Fi, or Link to send anywhere.
4. For Link: a short URL appears — send it by message or email.
5. The recipient opens the link in any browser — no account needed.
6. The encrypted transfer runs; the link expires automatically afterward.

When DocFila Transfer is the right choice
